Description

This course offers an in-depth analysis of the notices the OMARA can give agents and how they should respond to them and to investigations. It also discusses how to deal with complaints, the making of admissions and how to avoid complaints in the first place. This course also discusses several recent OMARA sanctions to help participants adopt best practices and avoid conduct that is conducive to sanctions. It also discusses some recent trends relating to sanctions.

Open to Australian lawyers, barristers and OMARA RMAs. Approved OMARA CPD Activity Code: WK747 (Cat A Online Workshop).

Lawyers can claim 1 hour of CPD points. RMAs will be eligible for 1 Cat A (mandatory ethics/code of conduct subject) point.
